Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Power Eye Care – John D. Power, OD the leading provider of vision care products and services in Marion.

John Power, O.D.

Dr. Power was born and raised in Marion, IL. He graduated from Marion Senior High School and attended Indiana Unversity in Bloomington, IN where he received both his Bachelor’s of Science degree and his Doctor of Optometry degree.

Dr. Power, his wife Lori, and their two sons reside in Marion. Dr. Power is involved in many community activities including The Marion Cultural and Civic Center Board of Directors, the Greater Marion Area United Way, and the Marion Rotary Club. He is also very active in his local church. He has served as past president of the Greater Marion Area United Way, the Marion Rotary Club, the Marion Memorial Health Foundation, and the Southern Illinois Optometric Society. In his free time he enjoys bike riding, ballroom dancing, and singing in his church choir.
